Ji Soo's Past Dramas Removed On Various OTT Platforms, Including OCN 'Bad Guys 2'
On March 5, the replay service of KBS 2TV's 'River Where The Moon Rises', which is currently airing, has been deleted. Ji Soo's debut film, MBC 'Angry Mom', is also nowhere to be found.
TVing also stopped offering the replaying of 'Bad Guys: City of Evil', the second season of OCN's 'Bad Guys', which he starred in, and Naver TV also deleted content that he appeared in, including 'River Where The Moon Rises'.
Earlier, an article about Ji Soo's school vio.le.nc.e was posted on the online community, sparking controversy. The writer said, "He is nothing more than a school vio.le.n.ce perpetrator, a ga.ngs.ter, and a bu.ll.y," revealing that the actor committed all kinds of bad acts such as s.e.x.ual ha.rass.me.n.t, as.sa.ult, and ext.or.tion of money and valuables.
"There is no excuse for my past misdeeds," Ji Soo said on his SNS on March 4, admitting that the article was true. "It was unforgivable behaviors," he said. "I want to kneel down and sincerely apologize to everyone who suffered from me."
In the aftermath, there were a lot of voices calling for Ji Soo to be kicked out of the drama 'River Where The Moon Rises'. According to the petition bulletin board of the KBS Viewers' Rights Center on the same day, the number of people agreeing to the post that petitioned him to leave the drama exceeded 7,000.
Currently, 'River Where The Moon Rises' has been broadcasted up to 6 out of 20 episodes, and with about 95% of the filming completed, the production team is reportedly deciding to drop off Ji Soo and looking for an alternative actor.
