An official of the movie 'Broker' revealed on February 1 that IU (real name Lee Ji Eun) has confirmed her appearance in 'Broker'.
'Broker' is a new film about people who became involved in a 'Baby Box', which is designed to allow people who cannot raise children to leave their babies anonymously.
Director Hirokazu Koreeda, who won the Jury Prize at the Cannes International Film Festival for 'Like Father, Like Son' and the Palme d'Or for 'Shoplifters' will helm the movie. Meanwhile, top actors Song Kang Ho, Kang Dong Won and Bae Doo Na have confirmed their appearance, raising expectations.
IU starred in the drama 'My Mister' and 'Hotel Del Luna', which are both commercial hits. Recently, she also joined the cast of the movie 'Dream' with actor Park Seo Joon, directed by Lee Byung Hun.
