The filming of 'Bogota' was finally postponed to next year.
On May 26, Megabox Plus M said, "We were planning to continue filming for 'Bogota' this summer, but the current situation in Colombia has not been smooth." He then said: "Now is not the time to move in a hurry for safety."
Previously, the 'Bogota' team had filmed the location in Colombia since January this year. However, as COVID-19 spread around the world, the Colombia government closed the border, so the crew of 'Bogota' stopped filming to ensure safety and rushed back home in March.
The film was originally scheduled to be cranked up in May. But in Colombia, the filming was only about 40 ~ 45% and stopped. The production team thought about shooting the domestic film scene but eventually decided to keep the local filming intact. The production team stated, "The filming schedule for next year has not been decided yet. However, if the COVID-19 situation subsides, it is possible to film in Colombia." In addition, he added: "We have discussed filming in Korea but have not conducted it yet."
'Bogota' is a movie that tells the story of young people who immigrated to Colombia in the 1990s. Directed by director Kim Sung Jae with starring actors Song Joong Ki and Lee Hee Jun.
