On June 8, the weekly top 10 most talked-about Korean drama and actor rankings for the first week of June 2021 has released by The Good Data Corporation. The data was collected from online news, community, social media, and video reactions in the first week of June.
There were two SBS’ Korean dramas and one tvN’s drama that started airing on the first week of June, and those are “Penthouse: War in Life 3,” “Racket Boys,” and “Hospital Playlist 2.”
The Penthouse season three has started airing on June 4 and straightly topped on the most talked about Korean drama on the first week of June ranking. While its cast, Lee Ji Ah and Kim So Yeon, took the third and sixth place of most popular actors most talked about on the first week of June 2021.
Park Bo Young remains in the first position of most talked-about Korean drama actor for three consecutive weeks in the 1st week of June 2021.
Then, there was tvN’s Doom at Your Service in the second place while its casts, Park Bo Young and Seo In Guk, took the first and fifth place for the most talked Korean drama actors most talked-about.
Further, My Roommate is a Gumiho fell to third place from second place the previous week. While its casts, Hye Ri remains in the second position, and Jang Ki Young rose to fourth.
Furthermore, Youth of May remains in the fourth position from the previous week. Meanwhile, its main cast Lee Do Hyun fell to ninth place from last week.
tvN’s drama Mine dropped two positions to fifth place, while its casts Lee Bo Young dropped to the seventh position and Lee Hyun Wook dropped to the tenth place. Meanwhile, JTBC’s Law School rose to sixth place, followed by a new K-drama SBS’s Racket Boys that starts airing on May 31, 2021.
Two KBS2’s dramas “Revolutionary Sisters” and “Sell Your Haunted House” rose one position to eighth and ninth positions in the first week of June. On the ninth position, The Hospital Playlist 2 already increased K-drama lovers’ attention for its coming premiere on June 17, 2021.
