On August 10, boy band DAY6 posted on their official SNS announcing that the group's first unit consisting of Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon will be called 'Even of Day' and their album is set to be released on August 31 at 6 PM KST.
Earlier, JYP Entertainment, their agency, confirmed that, "DAY6's first unit is making a comeback. The timing is planned for late August. We will inform you of the exact timing and related information in the future."
This album will be DAY6's first unit work since their debut. Members Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon will also participate in making the songs.
DAY6 released their sixth mini-album 'The Book of Us: The Demon' with the title track 'Zombie' in May and hasn't have many activities as a group since then due to some members' mental health.
DAY6 has been consistently loved for their hit songs such as 'You Were Beautiful', 'Congratulations', 'days gone by' and 'Time of Our Life'.
