Yoo Yongha and Kim Junseo from recently-disbanded boy group 1THE9 will start anew as members of OUI Ent‘s new boy group WEi.

On August 12, QUI Entertainment announced, “Our artists Yoo Yongha and Kim Junseo have confirmed to join the boy griyo WEi and recently finished filming the group’s reality show ‘Weinjeon’.”

Yongha and Junseo are originally from 1THE9, a boy group created through MBC’s audition program ‘Under Nineteen’. The two are not only handsome but also solid members, and have received much attention for their future moves since the end of their 1THE9 activities.

Yongha and Junseo will join WEi, which consists of Jang Daehyeon, Kim Donghan, Kim Yohan and Kang Seokhwa, to officially debut as a six-member group. WEi is the first boy group to be launched by OUI Entertainment, and in July, the agency opened an official SNS account for the group, with a fan cafe and official logo, drawing enthusiastic responses from global fans.

An official from the agency said, “We ask for your attention to the more abundant activities of WEi with Yongha and Junseo joining us,” adding, “Please also look forward to WEi’s reality show ‘Weinjeon’, which shows the strong friendship and teamwork of the group from the first shoot.”

‘Weinjeon’ is OUI Entertainment’s reality show featuring the debut countdown and growth records of WEi. It airs every Friday at 7 PM KST on WEi’s official YouTube channel, and the episode featuring Yongha and Junseo will be available in August.
