'Seo Bok' (directed by Lee Yong Joo), the most anticipated film in the second half of the year, with actors Gong Yoo and Park Bo Gum working together, has confirmed its release date on December 2.
According to multiple film industry officials, the movie 'Seo Bok' will be released on December 2 and will begin its full-scale promotional and marketing activities on October 21.
CJ Entertainment, the distributor of the movie, said on its official Instagram 'cjenmovie' account at 6 PM KST on October 20 that, "The movie 'Seo Bok' where Gong Yoo meets Park Bo Gum will finally be launched tomorrow."
'Seo Bok' is a story about Kihun, a former intelligence agent who is in charge of protecting a human clone called 'Seo Bok' from the pursuit of several forces who want to take over him. This will also be the first movie in the Korean film industry about human clone.
Gong Yoo will play Kihun, a former intelligence agent who has come to perform a mission that may be the last of his life, presenting both delicate emotions and intense action at the same time. Meanwhile, Park Bo Gum, who is starring in the popular tvN drama 'Record of Youth', will play the role of Seo Bok, the first human clone developed in secret.
