TOO officially announced on March 28 that they will change the group name from 'TOO' to 'TO1' after appearing on 'KCON:TACT 3', which was held online.
TOO was formed in 2019 through Mnet's idol audition program 'World Klass'. Stone Music Entertainment, a subsidiary of CJ ENM, and n.CH Entertainment agreed to produce and manage the team as a joint project in October 2018. But earlier this year, the group's management rights clashed and they were embroiled in controversy. After the two sides announced their position several times, CJ was eventually in charge of TOO's management.
TO1 stands for "TOGETHER as ONE", which means "we exist as one". Attention is focusing on what kind of activities TO1 will write down along with their new name, as they have not been active since July last year.
