On April 26, the press conference for SBS’s upcoming drama “Dr. Romantic 3” took place, in which Kim Min Jae was present along with PD (producing director) Yoo In Sik and cast members Han Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Sung Kyung, So Ju Yeon, Jin Kyung, Im Won Hee, Yoon Na Moo, and Lee Hong Nae.
Since the drama’s initial release in 2016, Kim Min Jae and Han Suk Kyu worked together for all three seasons of “Dr. Romantic.” When Kim Min Jae was asked what existence Han Suk Kyu meant to him, Kim Min Jae shared, “He is a mentor that I want to take all the good adjectives in the world to describe him with.”
Han Suk Kyu also expressed his gratitude sharing, “I feel like I’m suddenly tearing up. I am so grateful to Kim Min Jae.” Unaware that Kim Min Jae had yet to reveal his enlistment plans, Han Suk Kyu continued, “When I met Kim Min Jae during Season 1, there was a point where I told him, ‘Hurry up, and go to the military,’ but he is going to the military in July.” Seeing Kim Min Jae’s flustered expression, Han Suk Kyu added, “Was that something that shouldn’t have been said?”
However, Kim Min Jae sweetly responded, “I think this will become the last project of my 20s. Of course, it is not definitive. I was thinking a lot about how to convey [this news], but I think it is a relief [Han Suk Kyu] shared it. I think this project that I began my 20s with will also be the last project [of my 20s].”
