As the EXO members pursue their own solo ventures, the last time they’ve promoted as a group was back in 2019 for their sixth full-length album OBSESSION. Since a few members were still serving in the military, it was a bit bittersweet.
When Kai brought up the topic of a full group comeback, he and Baekhyun shared their thoughts on the matter.
During Kai’s press conference for his solo debut, he revealed how debuting as a soloist opened up new ways to improve himself. “All the members are doing solo activities these days. I also learned a lot and thought a lot.”
Because of how much he and the other members have matured, Kai noted that all of them would bring something new to the table. “I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of synergy we’ll have if we grow up and then get back together as EXO.”
He admitted to discussing an EXO comeback often with Baekhyun, “You and I have talked about it a lot.”
Baekhyun shared the same mindset as Kai. When all of the EXO members reunite, the group’s color may be entirely different. “[If you] mix different colors into one color, it may not be the same as before.”
Even so, they would make a group that’s even better than before. “But, I think we’re going to be more stable, weighty people.”
Baekhyun was just as excited for fans to see what that comeback would look like. “I’m looking forward to it too.”
Whatever kind of synergy the group creates in the future, EXO-Ls will continue to stay by their side. Every member’s growth can create an EXO that’ll be better than ever!
