Kate Winslet To Star As A... Horse In Disney's New Movie
This November, the Disney family will officially launch a rather special film called Black Beauty, based on the 1877 novel of the same name by writer Anne Sewell. In the original, the story of Black Beauty revolves around the life of a horse and the hardships and bitterness it suffered in once upon a time ruthless society.
Disney's new version of the movie again chooses a modern setting, followed by little girl Jo Green (played by Mackenzie Foy) moving to his uncle's farm. Here, she encounters a wild horse with no name. The two form a special, close bond and Jo calls the horse Black Beauty. When the horse is sold, Jo is determined to reunite with his friend regardless of everything. As for the Black Beauty horse, even though she has gone through many generations of owners, she is always looking forward.
Although Mackenzie Foy is the main actress of Black Beauty, the focus of all eyes is on Titanic's female star, Kate Winslet. In the movie, she will voice the anonymous horse girl and also be the narrator.
After the movie's trailer was released, although Mackenzie Foy's elaborate visuals and acting were also appreciated, fans of the original story were not interested. According to them, this is "an insult to the original work" and "completely unnecessary".
Black Beauty is a work produced for the biggest celebration of the year in the West, the upcoming Christmas. The film will be released on November 27 on the Disney + online cinema system.
