Sometimes, the chemistry started in movies doesn't end in just movies. With these 8 movies below, the marriages of the starring celebrities have been influenced more than ever.
CLEOPATRA: Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor
Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton first hated each other when they started filming Cleopatra, just until they have their first kiss on-screen.
They were both married at the time but the passionate kiss made their marriages up in flames. The two divorced their respective spouses and married each other from 1964 to 1974, divorced, and then remarried each other from 1975 to 1976.
MR. & MRS. SMITH: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
The rumors about the two leads started even when Brad Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston. Although the reasons for their split was "irreconcilable differences", the rumors of an on-set dalliance seemed to be true between Brad and Angie. Angelina even confirmed that sparks flew while filming, despite her hesitance to be with a married man.
DAYS OF THUNDER: Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman
When Days of Thunders was making in 1990, Tom Cruise was already married to Mimi Rogers. The love affair of him and co-star Nicole Kidman, however, was considered as the reason for Tom and Mimi's end of the marriage as they divorced just one month into the production process.
BY THE SEA: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
Although the Jolie-Pitt couple was created in a movie, they also came to an end after one more movie together. After the release of By the Sea, Jolie told the press that the movie was a "test" of her marriage to Brad, but in hindsight, it seems more like a documentary.
One year after the movie's release, Jolie filed for divorce.
DAREDEVIL: Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner fell in love with each other during the making of Daredevil (2002) when they both already had their partners. Ben was with Jennifer Lopez while Garner was married to Scott Foley. The pair then made their first appearance together publicly at a Red Sox game in 2004.
GREEN LANTERN: Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively were caught hanging out together during the film making. The movie seemed to be a fuel added to turn a friendship-costar relationship into something more romantic. After the movie, Lively broke up with Gossip Girl costar Penn Badgley and Scarlett Johannson divorced Reynolds. The couple married in 2012.
PROOF OF LIFE: Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid
While filming Proof of Life, Meg Ryan and Russel Crowe were seen cuddling up to one another, consequently ending Ryan's marriage with Dennis Quaid. Ryan shared the parenting duty of their son, Jack, and pair went their separate ways.
