The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the whole world in every field. Because of it, a series of music festivals have been postponed or canceled to avoid outbreaks. Recently, Bonnaroo and Cruel World festivals have been moved to the end of summer, early autumn, and if the pandemic situation gets even more complicated, a sudden delay of canceling close to the date of the event is entirely possible. Let's take a look on the schedule of these music events!

MAY

The three festivals of Danny Wimmer Presents in May are Epicenter (Concord, NC, May 1-3), Welcome To Rockville (Daytona Beach, Fla., 8-10 May) and Sonic Temple (Columbus, Ohio, 15- 5/17) stay untouched. The Hangout Music Festival at Gulf Shores, Ala on May 15-17 is still held normally. Boston Calling also kept the May 22-24 schedule with the appearance of Rage Against The Machine.

June

Governors Ball in New York City with Tame Impala, Flume and Missy Elliot has no further notice, keeping its schedule which is June 5-7. Firefly at Dover, Del. with the participation of Billie Eilish and Rage Against The Machine, will be held on June 18-21.

JULY

AUGUST

Outside Lands in San Francisco keeps the calendar August 7-9. The Newport Jazz Festival with headliner Norah Jones, Wynton Marsalis and Diana Krall will keep the schedule on August 7-9. Music Biz in Nashville was delayed until August 16-19. Bumbershoot in Seattle has plans to downsize, but the organizers have not announced the lineup nor the date. This event is usually held on Labor Day weekend in the US.

SEPTEMBER

Cruel World held in L.A. with a headliner including Morrissey, Bauhaus and Blondie headlining, it was delayed to September 12. Treefort in Boise, Idaho will take place September 23-27. Bonnaroo is delayed until September 24-27.

OCTOBER

BottleRock at Napa Valley was delayed to October 2-4. The Austin City Limits Festival keeps its old schedules which are October 2-4 and October 9-11. Coachella stepped back half a year to October 9-11 and October 16-18. Shaky Knees backs from May to October 16-18 at Atlanta Central Park. The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival backs from late April to early May to mid-October, when the official date has not been announced. Stagecoach takes place in Indio on October 23-25. Grieves' Boomerang Effect Festival at Fort Collins, Colo., Back to October 24.

IN 2021

Glastonbury, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2020 with stars including Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney and Diana Ross, has been delayed to 2021.
