Demi Lovato was brought back herself to those dark days in 2018 when the singer bravely shared her brutal experience that she almost lost her life because of a drug overdose.
Now it’s been two years long since that day, the Stone Cold singer spoke up some details about when she was rushed to the hospital for the first time in a new Youtube series. The brunette beauty has never spoken out about the finer details of what happened on that summer night in 2018.
Demi would want to call that was a “horrific experience” and what she learned from it for herself.
According to The Sun magazine, the star has secured a huge-money of deal with the website after agreeing to share the details of her overdose.
Demi is now all capable of taking her story into her own hands and wants to take full control over the image she wants the outside see while looking at her.
An inside source close to Demi admitted that the star has still not accepted what happened to her in the past and the haunting will definitely comes after her for years.
The insider told: “Demi’s experience in 2018 was horrific and will continue to affect her for years to come, so she hasn’t felt able to speak about it properly yet.”
“But she has written much of her upcoming album about the situation and wants to address exactly what happened to her in the hope she can prevent anyone else suffering a similar experience.”
“She has been nervous about speaking about what happened because she doesn’t want anything to be misconstrued, so decided her own series would be the best way as she will have the power to control exactly what is spoken about.”
Demi Lovato relapsed in 2018 after being sober for a solid six years.
After her overdose, the talented singer has had two weeks of recovering in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
