KQ Entertainment confirmed that boy group ATEEZ is preparing for their new album 'ATEEZ ZERO: FEVER Part.1' and will join the comeback competition in July.
"We are working hard to prepare for our comeback in July," KQ Entertainment, ATEEZ's agency, said on July 3.
Later in the day, the company posted on their official SNS that the boys will release the new album, titled 'ATEEZ ZERO : FEVER Part.1' at 6 PM KST on July 29.
ATEEZ's comeback comes about five months after their fourth mini album 'TREASURE EPILOGUE: Action To Answer', which was released in February. The boys are expected to heat up the music comeback race in July, which is already packed with a number of top K-pop groups.
Earlier, ATEEZ released a total of five 'TREASURE' albums, showing remarkable growth as a "global performance idol group". With their unique performance and exceptional skills, they made an unusual debut and signed a local label contract with an American recording company to enter overseas markets in less than a year. Expectations are high on what kind of original storytelling and concept ATEEZ will return this time.
ATEEZ, which debuted in October 2018, has solidified their identity as a performance team by showing overwhelming sharp group dance, stage dominance and relaxed stage manners with 'Treasure', 'Pirate King' and 'Say My Name'.
They manage to put their first album 'TREASURE EP.1: All To Zero' on the U.S. Billboard World Albums chart in the first week of their debut, while touring five cities in North America and 10 cities in Europe five months after their debut - all tickets were sold out. Recently, they drew attention by performing the ending stage of 'KCON:TACT 2020 Summer'.
