SBS’s “The King: Eternal Monarch” ratings decline to new all-time low.
Last week, “The King: Eternal Monarch” successfully managed to reverse its downward trend in viewership by achieving its first ratings increase in weeks.
However, the latest episode of the fantasy romance drama failed to keep this promising momentum going: according to Nielsen Korea, the May 22 broadcast of “The King: Eternal Monarch” scored average nationwide ratings of 5.2 percent and 6.6 percent. Not only did the ratings mark a decrease in viewership since the previous episode, but they also set a new record for the drama’s lowest ratings to date.
