As a result of big data analysis in June 2020, the overall idol group brand reputation rankings were announced with BTS, BLACKPINK and TWICE taking the top 3, respectively.
For the rankings, the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation analyzed the brand reputation index by extracting 105,591,946 big data from 100 idol groups from May 25, 2020 to June 26, 2020. Compared to 96,683,577 big data from 100 idol groups in May 2020, the figure increased by 9.21%.
The brand reputation index is an index created through brand big data analysis, based on the finding that consumers' online habits have a great impact on brand consumption. Through the analysis of top 100 idol groups' brand reputation, the company can measure the positive and negative evaluation of the idol groups.
The overall idol group brand reputation rankings for June is as follow:

At No.1, BTS (RM, Suga, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook) was analyzed to have a brand reputation index of 12,612,921, with the Participation index of 2,261,072; Media index of 2,320,309; Communication index of 3,586,146; Community index of 4,445,394. Compared to the brand reputation index of 7,918,844 in May, the figure increased by 59.28%.
At No.2, BLACKPINK (Jisoo, Jenny, Rosé, Lisa) was analyzed to have a brand reputation index of 7,789,125, with a Participation index of 730,488; Media index of 947,257; Communication index of 2,774,917; Community index of 3,336,463. Compared to the brand reputation index of 4,419,878 in May, the figured increased by 76.23%.
At No.3, TWICE (Sana, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Tzuyu, Nayeon, Momo, Mina, Jeongyeon, Jihyo) was analyzed to have a brand reputation index of 5,954,175, with the Participation index of 1,179,112; Media index of 1,291,180; Communication index of 1,709,189; Community index of 1,774,694. Compared to the brand reputation index of 4,091,455 in May, the figured increased by 45.53%.
