The BLACKPINK member’s music video for her solo debut track “SOLO” surpassed 1 billion views on February 29 at approximately 6 p.m. KST. This is about five years, three months, and 17 days since its release on November 12, 2018 at 6 p.m. KST.
“SOLO” is the first-ever K-pop music video by a female artist to reach 1 billion views. As a group, BLACKPINK currently has five music videos with over 1 billion views, with “DDU-DU DDU-DU” even exceeding 2 billion.
