Thandie Newton, the British actress in the blockbuster series movies Mission: Impossible has just revealed some details around her superstar actor she worked with, Tom Cruise, saying that he is 'terrified".
Thandie played as Nyah Nordoff‑Hall, the love interest of Ethan Hunt - which was Tom's character in the movie two decades ago.
In an interview with Vulture, she gave some details on her feeling about the actor, sharing that she felt 'terrified and insecure' during the on-set of the movie.
"I was so scared of Tom. He was a very dominant individual. He tries super hard to be a nice person. But the pressure. He takes on a lot."
Thandie detailed how they struggled with filming a scene in Spain, in which they battled to get the perfect take of 'a poorly-written scene'.
She explained: "So this scene was happening, and Tom was not happy with what I was doing because I had the s**ttiest lines, and he gets so frustrated".
Thandie continued: "It just pushed me further into a place of terror and insecurity. It was a real shame. And bless him. And I really do mean bless him, because he was trying his damnedest... He wasn't horrible. It was just — he was really stressed".

The behavior of Tom Cruise while on set has been in the middle of a discussion, with Cabin In The Woods director Drew Goddard, describing the 2009 meet up between him and Tom as "That was definitely one of those surreal experiences...
"It was wonderful. I mean, Tom — at least in my experience with him — I've never met a more enthusiastic, creative, and supportive person. He has that energy and to feel that energy directed towards you about you, it's like a drug. It's wonderful."
"He was so excited about the script and so complimentary and really just pointed out scenes in the movie that he felt we should bring out more. And he was totally right."
The comments about Tom come after Thandie revealed she is finally enjoying the kind of career boost she expected to have in her twenties.
