This is the second time that Hongseok was chosen as the cover star of Men's Health Korea - the last time was in July last year. It is rare for an artist to decorate the cover of the magazine twice. This is because the time and process of preparing for the cover photoshoot are harsh. After the cover shoot last year, Hongseok went to the gym almost every day to exercise and train constantly despite his busy schedule.
In the photoshoot with Men's Health, the singer was both sexy and manly. He also revealed five of his usual exercise moves and showed his own know-how, ranging from exercise routine to diet management. He also shared exercise tips and advices from body builders and trainers.
His fashion pictorial featured the concept of 'Holiday at Hotel' for the end of 2020. Hongseok wore a variety of tuxedos to create a holiday look, while wearing only a robe to enjoy a lazy afternoon. In particular, it is rumored that the staff cheered when he reveals his strong abs and chest muscles in the robe.
Hongseok is a member of boy group PENTAGON, who recently won their first music show trophy with the title track 'Daisy' from their 10th mini album '[WE:TH]', and has been busy preparing for their online concert on November 29. The singer also communicated with global fans with exercise-themed YouTube content 'Hongseok is exercising Hong Hong Hong'.
The December issue of Men's Health Korea, which offers a sexy yet manly look of Hongseok, began online sales on November 23 and will be available at major bookstores nationwide on November 27. A cover making video of him will be available on the official Instagram of Men's Health on November 25.
