The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from April 2 to May 2.

MBC’s “Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 12,148,420 for May. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “Song Seung Heon” “Kyung Soo Jin” and “Jeju” while its highest-ranking related terms included “reveal,” “healing” and “prepare.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 73.09 percent positive reactions.

TV Chosun’s “Wife’s Taste” rose to second place this month with a brand reputation index of 10,088,290, marking a 21.12 percent increase in its score since April.

Finally, TV Chosun’s “Love Call Center” took third place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 9,204,936.
