On July 28, Lee Hi and Jeong Sewoon were guests on the SBS Power FM radio show “Park So Hyun’s Love Game.” Here, she has shared which AOMG artist she wants to work with, plans to work with AKMU again, and some other schedules.

Lee Hi recently had a comeback with “HOLO” and announced that she had signed with the label AOMG. She said, “I said multiple times that I wanted to collaborate with Loco from the label. I like Loco’s albums and songs. I was doing a live broadcast on social media and sang a medley of songs from AOMG artists. I sang one of Loco’s songs and it fit well.”

AOMG is known for signing rappers and hip hop artists. Asked if she was planning for a change in genre, she said, “A lot of people are curious about this. I joined the label because I wanted to make my own music. I’m going to keep making the music that I’m good at.”

On “HOLO,” Lee Hi worked again with The Barberettes’ Ahn Shin Ae, who had previously worked with her on “Hold My Hand.” Lee Hi said, “I liked working together on ‘Hold My Hand,’ so I was the first to contact her. She sent me the song while spending time at home due to COVID-19. This song lingered the most in my head, so I picked it right away.”

Lee Hi also shared some stories from filming the music video. “The scene in the water was hard,” she said. “I thought it was going to be easy, so I readily agreed to do it. I was confident because I used to be in the YMCA Youth Sports Club, but there is a reason we wear swimsuits. It is really hard to go in the water with your clothes on.”

Lee Hi also talked about the potential for another collaboration with AKMU’s Lee Soo Hyun. She said, “We’re in different agencies now, and Lee Soo Hyun is working on her own music and AKMU’s music as well. If it’s possible, I’d like to do a HI SUHYUN in our twenties.”
