SM Shares Future Activities Of EXO Xiumin And D.O. After Being Discharged From Military
EXO D.O. (Do Kyung Soo) was officially discharged from the military on January 25. His agency SM Entertainment said D.O., who recently took his last vacation, was discharged without returning to the army to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
D.O. joined the army in July 2019 and served as a cook. During his service, he participated in the army's creative musical 'The Return', marking the 70th anniversary of the Korean War.
D.O. became the second member to complete his military service after Xiumin.
Earlier, Xiumin joined the army in May 2019 and was discharged from the army on December 6 last year. "Thank you for your patience," Xiumin told the fan community on the day of his discharge. "We did a great job. This is the end of hard work. Happiness will begin. Let's meet soon," he said.
Since then, Xiumin has been delighted to appear on tvN's 'Things That Make Me Groove' as his first schedule on an online live broadcast with fans. Attention is focusing on his next appearance on MBC's variety show 'Where is My Home', which will be broadcast on January 31.
D.O. is also expected to work hard as his return work was confirmed. The singer-turned-actor who has been recognized for his acting skills through a number of works, including '100 Days My Prince', 'It's Okay, That's Love', 'Kart', 'My Annoying Brother', 'Swing Kids' and 'Along With The Gods', will work with actor Seol Kyung Gu in the upcoming sci-fi film 'The Moon'.
