Let's throwback to 4 of shocking fanmade theories about EXO's eras, what are they?

1. EXO’s “Love Me Right” and “Lucky One” are directly tied together

After EXO's "Lucky One" MV appeared, fans immediately began to notice the striking similarities between it and their "Love Me Right" video.

The color of the corridor in "Lucky One" is the same as the background color seen in the entire "Love Me Right". This very popular theory also traps all boys in the maze, which was introduced in their "Overdose" MV. In "Love Me Right", the boy does not seem to have a maze, but some EXO-L believe that the MV only shows different parts of the maze.

The biggest evidence linking the two is the Lay part of the two MVs. In "Love Me Right", Lay looks through the window, while in "Lucky One", you can peek at Lay's face through the window.

2. EXO’s “Overdose”, “MAMA”, “Love Me Right”, “Lucky One”, and “Monster” have 1 story together

EXO-L already knows that the creation of EXO is based on the fact that each member has different powers, and they come from a different planet than ours. This can be seen in "MAMA".

The opening ceremony told the story of the boys, and the MV showed their respective strengths.

But some fans believe that this is the way to bundle everything else together. In their "Overdose" MV, the original 12 members who were stuck in the maze were shown.

It is believed that the scientists of "Lucky One" put the boy in the maze because of their extraordinary powers.

On the other hand, their "Monster" MV shows the boys rebelling and trying to escape the maze. The SWAT team proved that this was the result of a boy's fight.

Next, the boys were put into a van, and some fans thought they were recaptured and brought back to the maze.

Other fans believe that since Baekhyun took off his mask at the end of the MV, the boys have finally been free and we saw them all walk away together.

3. “Power” replaces “MAMA”

"MAMA" is the starting point for the long-term existence of boys and their abilities. The introduction at the beginning tried to tell the story of how the boys acquired each special ability and how they came to earth. This seems to be the starting point for everything.

This theory was finally abandoned by EXO-L because the entire "historical" plot depends on 12 people who are capable of defeating the red evil. Therefore, when replacing the "MAMA" event, "Power" is very meaningful! At the beginning of "Power", we learned that there are many different parallel universes, one of which is the EXO boy as we know it.

In this special universe, the boys are fighting a robot that someone believes in the creation of red evil. When Chen created the shield to protect the members and ultimately enable them to defeat the robot, the power ball fell from the sky.

Each member gets one, thus gaining their own power! The end of the MV also replaced the way EXO members reach the earth. In the end, we saw Baekhyun pick up a kitten, almost certainly it came from one of the parallel universes we saw at the beginning.

Then, the kind Baekhyun asked to help the kitten go home, and we saw him fall into the earth like the sky. The idea is that the other boys decided to follow him, which brought everything back to normal in all their other MVs.

4. MV is not arranged in chronological order

Before the release of "Power", some people believed that the correct sequence of events was: "Mama", "What is love", "Overdose", "Lucky One", "Love me Right", "Monster" and "Ko Ko Bop". Throughout "MAMA" and "What Is Love", people believe that the two parts of EXO (EXO-K and EXO-M) are trying to meet and defeat the evil red mentioned in the opening ceremony of "MAMA" power.

We saw some evidence in "What is Love", where members find symbols of other members. Although these two MVs show many clues that may cause each member to influence each other, there is also the power to deal with them. They cannot meet during the eclipse, so the evil red power creates a maze, which is visible in "Overdose."

Conversely, at the end of the "overdose", we saw the boys leaving the maze, but then the camera zoomed out and we saw that it was only a small part of the maze.

This may explain the strange red lighting in some parts of the "Love Me Right" MV. Then the boys escaped with the help of the worshippers in "Monsters".
