Rain is celebrating an important milestone! April 24, 2020 marks Rain’s 18th debut anniversary as a solo artist and the singer and actor took to his personal Instagram account to express his gratitude to fans who have followed his journey till now.
He wrote, “Thanks to all my fans who have supported me throughout the years, today marks 18 years since I first released my debut album. I still vividly remember leaving the small practice room to perform for the first time on April 24, 2002. On this special day, I want to share a hidden gem I found of me right before this performance. A big thanks to my Cloud [Rain’s official fan club name] family who have been with me since day one. I love you all!”
The video shows Rain preparing for his debut performance 18 years ago. He looks nervous and excited and when asked how he feels, he says he’s nervous but has a good feeling about what’s to come.
He shared a second clip with the caption, “April 2002, ‘Inkigayo'” and he can be seen joking around and having fun as he waits for his turn to perform. Happy 18th debut anniversary to Rain!
