N.Flying Jaehyun Is Diagnosed With COVID-19
On November 2, FNC Entertainment announced that after developing “mild flu-like symptoms,” Kim Jae Hyun had been diagnosed with COVID-19. As a result, N.Flying will be carrying out their upcoming scheduled activities with only the remaining four members of the band.
The agency’s full statement is as follows:
Hello, this is FNC Entertainment.
Because N.Flying’s Kim Jae Hyun exhibited mild flu-like symptoms, he underwent PCR testing for COVID-19 as a precautionary measure, and his test results came back positive. Kim Jae Hyun currently does not have any symptoms other than those of a mild cold, and he plans to remain in self-isolation until November 7.
We are informing you that Kim Jae Hyun and the other four members [of N.Flying] did not have any separate contact, and we are also informing you of the following changes to their schedule.
- November 4/5/6 video call and in-person fan signing events (Kim Jae Hyun will be absent, there will be no changes to the other 4 members’ schedule)
- November 7 video call fan signing event (Kim Jae Hyun will be absent, there will be no changes to the other 4 members’ schedule)
**For those who were selected for individual video calls with Kim Jae Hyun, we will make an announcement at a later time about carrying out [those calls] separately.
We ask for your generous understanding regarding the fact that, unavoidably, only four members will be participating in [N.Flying’s] scheduled activities. We feel apologetic for having to convey this sudden news of [Kim Jae Hyun’s] diagnosis, and we will always try to exercise caution for the sake of our artists’ health and safety.
Wishing Kim Jae Hyun a speedy recovery!
