JTBC’s “King the Land” and TV Chosun’s “Durian’s Affair” both earned their highest Saturday viewership ratings to date last night!

On July 8, “King the Land” took first place in its time slot across all channels as it achieved its highest ratings yet for a Saturday (when its ratings have typically been lower compared to Sundays). According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of the popular rom-com successfully remained in the double digits with an average nationwide rating of 10.6 percent.

The new fantasy romance “Durian’s Affair” also broke its personal Saturday record with its fifth episode, which scored an average nationwide rating of 4.3 percent.

SBS’s popular thriller “Revenant” fell to a nationwide average of 9.5 percent, marking the lowest ratings of its run thus far, while tvN’s “See You in My 19th Life” similarly dropped to an all-time low of 4.1 percent.

MBC’s “Numbers,” which airs in the same time slot as “Revenant,” also dipped to an average nationwide rating of 3.2 percent.

Finally, KBS 2TV’s “The Real Has Come!” continued its streak as the most-watched program of
