On April 7, King Kong by Starship confirmed, “It’s true that Jang Da Ah has signed an exclusive contract with King Kong by Starship.”
The agency went on to share, “She will begin her promotions gradually, starting with an advertisement shoot to reveal her face to the public.” They added, “After getting her start as an advertisement model, she will be pursuing an acting career.”
King Kong by Starship is an actor-focused subsidiary of IVE’s agency Starship Entertainment, and it is currently home to a star-studded roster of talent that includes Song Seung Heon, Lee Dong Wook, Yoo Yeon Seok, Kim Bum, Lee Kwang Soo, and more.
Jang Da Ah—who was born in 2001—is three years older than her younger sister Jang Won Young, who has been with Starship since she first entered the spotlight on the Mnet survival show “Produce 48” back in 2018.
Meanwhile, IVE is currently gearing up to make a comeback with their first full-length album “I’ve IVE” next week.
