On April 29 at 6 p.m. KST, IVE made their highly-anticipated comeback with their new EP “IVE SWITCH” and its two title tracks, “HEYA” and “Accendio.”
Less than three days later, on May 1, Hanteo Chart revealed that “IVE SWITCH” had already sold over 1 million copies—making it IVE’s fastest album to surpass 1 million sales.
IVE is now only the second girl group in Hanteo history to surpass 1 million first-week sales with three different albums, having previously achieved the feat with “I’ve IVE” and “I’VE MINE.” To date, the only other girl group to have three albums surpass 1 million sales each within the first week of their release is aespa.
