For the first time in years, fictional boy group Sparkling came together again!
Three years ago, ATEEZ members Yunho, Seonghwa, and San starred in the KBS drama “Imitation,” where they played members of a fictional boy group named Sparkling alongside Boys Republic’s Suwoong. (ATEEZ’s Jongho also appeared in the drama as a member of rival boy group SHAX.)
Although Sparkling wasn’t a real boy group, they memorably appeared in character on the popular music talk show “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook,” and they even topped Hanteo’s daily album chart with their “debut” album “DIAMOND.”
On January 27, ATEEZ held the first night of their sold-out “TOWARDS THE LIGHT : WILL TO POWER” concert at Seoul’s Jamsil Indoor Stadium—and Yunho, Seonghwa, and San’s former “bandmate” Suwoong turned up to show his support.
After the show, Suwoong took to Instagram to share several photos from the concert, including two cute pictures he snapped backstage with his fellow Sparkling members and their real-life bandmate Wooyoung.
Suwoong affectionately wrote, “The Sparkling members, whom I was so happy to see again for the first time in a long while! ATEEZ is truly the best.”

Meanwhile, ATEEZ will be holding the second night of their Seoul “TOWARDS THE LIGHT : WILL TO POWER” concert on January 28.
