BTS RM Grabs No.3 and SUGA No.9 on Billboard Hot 100 Songwriter Chart
According to Billboard Twitter on December 3, RM and Suga ranked third and ninth on the Billboard Hot 100 Songwriter chart, to be fully revealed on December 5. Both RM and Suga were honored to enter the chart for the first time.
The Billboard Hot 100 Songwriter chart, which was newly established in June 2019, is a chart that adds up the total score of the songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
RM and Suga recently participated in most of the songs in BTS' latest album 'BE (Deluxe Edition)', which is topping Billboard 200.
7 of the songs they completed in 'BE (Deluxe Edition)' were on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and drew attention. 'Life Goes On' ranked 1st, 'Blue & Grey' ranked 13th, 'Stay' ranked 22nd, 'Fly to My Room' ranked 69th, 'Telepathy' ranked 70th and 'Dis-ease' ranked 72nd.
'Life Goes On' is the first ever K-Pop song to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This is the third time BTS ranked No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, though, after the remix version of 'Savage Love' and 'Dynamite'. In addition, BTS became the first Korean artist to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart and Billboard 200 chart simultaneously on the same day, with 'Life Goes On' and 'BE'.
