Boy group BTS has confirmed their attendance at the '2020 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS', which will be held in December as an online ceremony.
The organizing committee of the '2020 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS' said on October 19 that, "BTS will appear in the 3rd 'THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS', to be held online in December."
Having won the daesang (grand prize) and four trophies at the award ceremony for two consecutive times, BTS will continue to compete at the 3rd one, and aim for a feat of winning the grand prize three times in a row.
The organizing committee said, "The 3rd 'THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS' will be held in on-tact manner to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, for the health and safety of fans and artists. We will film the event from various angles to show high-quality performances that meet fans' expectations, and plans to thoroughly comply with the government's quarantine guidelines to ensure a safe award ceremony without fear of infection."
BTS, who are leading the global music market by leading the K-POP craze, has made a monumental history this year. They were the first Korean artists to perform at the 62nd Grammy Awards ceremony held in Los Angeles in January this year, and their fourth full-length album 'MAP OF THE SOUL: 7' released in February swept the top charts both at home and abroad. So the boys are expected to win big again at the '2020 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS'.
