BLACKPINK’s Rosé Hints At Plans To Launch Her Own YouTube Channel

BLACKPINK’s Rosé may soon be opening a YouTube channel of her very own!

On February 11, Rosé rang in her 24th birthday (by international reckoning), and she celebrated the occasion by holding a special Naver V Live broadcast to communicate with her fans.

During the broadcast, Rosé hinted at some exciting news: as she gears up for her highly-anticipated solo debut, it seems that she may also be preparing to launch her own YouTube channel in the near future.

When one of her fans asked her if she had any plans to start a YouTube channel, Rosé replied, “I have a feeling that after my solo release, I’ll probably create one then. So I think you guys can safely look forward to it a lot.”

Looking into the camera, she playfully added, “That was a really refreshingly straightforward spoiler just now, right? How was it, everyone? It was a refreshingly clear spoiler, wasn’t it? It was pretty good, right?”

After premiering one of the tracks from her upcoming solo debut album at BLACKPINK’s recent online concert “THE SHOW,” Rosé is currently preparing to make her solo debut in the near future. Earlier this week, YG Entertainment declined to confirm the exact date of her impending debut, stating that they planned to make an announcement sometime soon.

Are you excited to potentially see Rosé join her bandmates Lisa and Jennie on YouTube?

BLACKPINK Rosé To Reportedly Release Debut Solo Album In March

Singer Rosé of girl group BLACKPINK is finally going to make her debut as a soloist by releasing her new album this March.

According to a distributor in South Korea, Rosé will release her solo album in March. YG Entertainment has announced Rosé's solo debut since last year, but has yet to confirm the exact release date.

At BLACKPINK's first live stream concert 'THE SHOW', which was held on January 31, Rosé's solo song 'GONE' was pre-released. YG also revealed that, "All the music video filming for Rosé's solo album title track are done. It is a large-scale MV that spent huge production costs, so we are doing our best to improve the completeness of the music video. We're going to officially announce the album release schedule soon."

As a result, domestic and international attention are focused on Rosé's solo debut. Forbes, a U.S. economic magazine, even picked Rosé as one of the "K-Pop solo stars that will surprise the U.S. in 2021".

Moreover, BLINKs (BLACKPINK's fans) are interested in what records Rosé, who announced her solo debut in two years, will set as her fellow member Jennie, who released her first solo album in November 2018, swept the major music charts in South Korea and abroad, as well as surpassed 600 million views for the MV 'Solo' on YouTube.
