On August 29, a media outlet reported that Jisoo recently received an casting offer to star in the new drama “Monthly Boyfriend” as the female lead.
In response to the report, Jisoo’s agency BLISSOO stated, “We are currently reviewing the offer.”
Jisoo first ventured into acting with the JTBC drama “Snowdrop” in 2021, acting alongside Jung Hae In. Jisoo made a special appearance in the film “The Plot” and has also completed filming for the film “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” co-starring Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Min Ho.
In addition to that, Jisoo is also gearing up for her upcoming zombie drama “Newtopia” in which she stars alongside actor Park Jung Min.
In February, Jisoo launched a brand-new company called BLISSOO for her solo activities, becoming the third BLACKPINK member to establish her own personal label. While continuing her group activities under BLACKPINK’s agency YG Entertainment, Jisoo is pursuing her individual endeavors as an actress under BLISSOO, where her older brother Kim Jung Hoon is serving as the CEO.
