#PricelessJennieDay: Some Little Facts about BLACKPINK Jennie!

Today (Jan. 16), BLACKPINK member Jennie is celebrating her 25th birthday!

To celebrate her special day, we compiled a list of little-known facts that you (or may not!) have known about the idol!

1. Her special talent

During an appearance on Weekly Idol, Jennie revealed her special talent. While she may have charisma on stage, her special talent is actually adorable!

So, what is it? It's mimicking a baby's voice!

During the show, she showed off her adorable baby voice by saying, "I'm hungry, I want a cheeseburger!"

She also showcased another talent on "Knowing Bros," where the idol revealed she could eat a chip without making a sound. When she tried to show it off, however, the crunch from the chip ended up ruining her little segment. It was okay, however - she still looked adorable!

2. Her musical role models

When Jennie first started learning to rap, she took inspiration from Lauryn Hill and TLC, considering these two figures in music as ones she highly admires and respects. She also cited Rihanna as her main influence as a role model. In fact, when she auditioned for YG Entertainment, she sang "Take a Bow" by Riri herself!

3. Her favorite BLACKPINK song

While BLINKs can agree that all BLACKPINK songs are bangers, Jennie once revealed that her favorite song is "DDU-DU DDU-DU"! The hard-hitting track definitely showcased both Jennie's vocals and rapping skills, and it is extremely catchy to boot! It is no surprise that the song is Jennie's favorite.

4. "Human Gucci"

While fans know Jennie as "Human Chanel," she was also known as the "Human Gucci" alongside BTS member V due to how often she was seen wearing Gucci in the past. However, she has since reduced the amount of Gucci she wears after being named the global brand ambassador of the French fashion house Chanel. But fans will never forget how much she used to rock Gucci!

5. Her fashion icon

In an interview with Elle Indonesia, Jennie revealed that she got her fashion style from her mother!

In the past, she would look through her mother's wardrobe and search for vintage Chanel in her closet. With that, she revealed that Chanel has been a part of her life ever since her youth.

Jennie also revealed that she is fond of reading fashion magazines and looking at different clothing styles. That explains why she is such a fashion icon herself!

6. Pre-debut appearance

Now, most BLINKs know that Jennie appeared as the actress in G-Dragon's "That XX" music video and featured on Lee Hi's "Special," Seungri's "GG Be," and G-Dragon's "Black." But did you know that in 2006, she appeared in MBC's special documentary "English, Must Change to Survive"?
