Solo singer-songwriter BIBI has recently held a couple of live broadcasts, one of which caused concern for her fans.
BIBI is beloved, especially due to her no-filter personality. Yet, she recently opened up more than ever during an Instagram Live, and it caused great concern.
During the Instagram Live, BIBI expressed frustration that she was so busy that she couldn’t even wash her makeup off and had not been resting well for days.
I’m just acting like I’m doing well, but I’m f*cking done, I’m f*cking done. — BIBI
Her mention of long hours was already concerning, but it was especially alarming when BIBI cried and mentioned potentially committing suicide. She said she didn’t know what was next and that maybe she would “kill [herself]” before repeating how exhausted she was.
In the live broadcast, she nearly fell asleep multiple times. Additionally, she had tried contacting her manager with no luck in an attempt to find out if she could remove her makeup despite her schedule.
At the end of the Instagram Live, BIBI expressed, “[she] wishes [she] was not an artist or singer.” Immediately fans took to social media to help her, tweeting the hashtag #BIBIDESERVESBETTER and directing their concerns to BIBI’s label, Feel Ghood Music.
Now, BIBI has updated fans on her condition in a new Instagram Live.
After resting, she woke up to find out that she had gone viral for the previous live broadcast and was shocked. So, she cleared up misunderstandings regarding her lack of sleep and not getting to eat.
I slept well and ate well. I didn’t know that I was this powerful… that everyone was watching me. — BIBI
BIBI emphasized that she ultimately is the one choosing to work so hard. She explained that she is both the creator and producer of her new album.
I am [the] creator and producer of my album so. …I just woke up. I’m sorry… What I want to say is, I worked my a** off because I wanted to make my album. — BIBI
She also requested that fans stop misdirecting their anger towards her company. She reiterated that she does love her team, and they do everything they can to protect her health.
It’s me. I worked so hard for this album, it’s why I worked hard myself. Stop blaming everybody; I love them. — BIBI
To wrap up the Instagram Live, BIBI claimed it was all a “huge misunderstanding.” When she woke up and saw the response, she asked herself why she was so dramatic in the previous one.
BIBI also reposted one of her fan page’s posts regarding the situation that delivered the same message.
Additionally, BIBI took to Twitter, declaring again that it’s not the company’s fault but rather her own, begging everyone not to blame Feel Ghood Music.
Finally, she tweeted a message of love for all.
