On the April 15 episode of “Yoo Quiz on the Block,” Yoo Jae Suk shared his reaction to the “Nth room” case.
Hosts Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho interviewed a young man who loves writing poetry and expressed his desire to become a helpful member of society. He showed the hosts a poem he wrote and explained that he’d written his personal feelings over things happening in society lately, and the poem reflected his anger over the “Nth room” case.
Recently, people in Korea and around the world have been shocked and outraged over the news of the existence of pay-to-view Telegram group chats, including the so-called “Nth room,” where women (including minors) were blackmailed into taking sexually exploitative videos. Millions of people have signed petitions about the case, including ones that call for the reveal of the perpetrators’ names.
Yoo Jae Suk responded to the poem by saying, “Jo Se Ho and I also signed the petition. I hope they are greatly punished. I’m truly so furious lately. I hope they give them the strongest punishment possible.”
