JTBC’s “The World of the Married” has officially made Korean drama history!
On May 2, “The World of the Married” set a new record for the highest viewership ratings ever achieved by any drama in Korean cable network history.
According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of the hit drama scored an average rating of 24.33 percent nationwide, breaking the previous record of 23.78 percent achieved by the finale of JTBC’s “SKY Castle” back in 2019.
Following this new record, the only cable network show ever to achieve higher ratings than “The World of the Married” is TV Chosun’s hit audition program “Mister Trot” which peaked at an average rating of 35.7 percent in March.
With four episodes still left in its run, it remains to be seen whether “The World of the Married” will be able to break its own record with even higher ratings in its final two weeks.
Congratulations to the cast and crew of “The World of the Married”!
