Song Kang, Lee Do Hyun, And More Fight With Monsters In The New Teaser Of Drama Adaptation Of “Sweet Home”
Based on the hit thriller webtoon of the same name, “Sweet Home” is about Cha Hyun Soo (played by Song Kang), a lonely high school student who moves to a new apartment building after losing his family in a tragic accident. There, he ends up facing a series of shocking and terrifying events as humans suddenly begin transforming into dangerous monsters around him.
Although the residents of Cha Hyun Soo’s apartment building barely communicated before the mysterious outbreak, they wind up suddenly joining forces in a life-or-death battle for survival.
Lee Do Hyun will star as the brilliant Lee Eun Hyuk, who has a sharp mind and cool disposition to help him lead the residents of the apartment building, while Lee Jin Wook will star as Pyun Sang Wook, a former detective with a mysterious past whom everyone mistakes for a gangster. Finally, Lee Si Young will star as Seo Yi Kyung, a former firefighter who used to serve in the special forces.
“Sweet Home,” which is helmed by “Goblin” and “Mr. Sunshine” director Lee Eung Bok, also released a chilling teaser that offers viewers a glimpse of what to expect from the drama.
From what appears to be the perspective of one of the story’s monsters, the suspenseful clip explores the dark, seemingly abandoned apartment building in which the characters live. The state of the rooms and the devastation throughout the building hint at the terrifying battles that have taken place there. At the end of the video, the camera comes face-to-face with Cha Hyun Soo, who has been lying in wait for the monster with a makeshift spear in hand.
“Sweet Home” will be released on December 18. Now, check out the new teaser below!
