Kim Young Dae will make a special appearance in JTBC's new drama 'Undercover', according to StarNews on January 5. The actor will appear in several episodes, not just one. As it is a cameo role, he is expected to show a short but intense presence.
Kim Young Dae is a next-generation rookie who made headlines by appearing in dramas such as 'Extraordinary You' and 'Cheat on Me, If You Can'. In 2020, he won the Best Male Popularity Award at the KBS Drama Awards. In particular, he made his face known as Joo Dan Tae (played by Um Ki Joon) and Shim Soo Ryeon (played by Lee Ji Ah)'s son, Joo Seok Hoon, on SBS' hit drama 'The Penthouse: War in Life', which is currently airing with huge popularity. As a result, attention is being paid to his next work.
Meanwhile, 'Undercover' is a drama based on the British BBC drama of the same name. It tells the story of Han Jung Hyun (played by Ji Jin Hee), who has been hiding her identity for a long time, and Choi Yeon Soo (played by Kim Hyun Joo), a human rights lawyer who became the first head of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit. The drama delves into the reality of power and closely follows the hidden sides of people regarding power, what is right and wrong.
