Many officials reveal on January 11 that, "Singer and actor Park Ji Hoon will play the male lead Yeo Jun in the drama adaptation of the popular webtoon 'From A Distance, A Green Spring'."
Responding to the information, on the same day, Maroo Entertainment, Park Ji Hoon's agency, said, "He is positively considering appearing in the drama 'From A Distance, A Green Spring'."
'From A Distance, A Green Spring', which has been serialized on DAUM webtoon since 2014, tells the story of people in their 20s who have to live the green spring of life, as the title originates from the saying, "Life is a comedy from a distance and a tragedy from up close." In particular, the webtoon says that as we spend the beautiful days of youth, we have to struggle in the harsh world as well.
This is a work that has gained huge popularity amid the sympathy and response of many young readers by sincerely solving the real problems and conflicts of young people.
Park Ji Hoon was offered the role of Yeo Jun, a good and cute business administration student at Myongil University, who grew up in a good family with a bright and handsome appearance.
Park Ji Hoon, a former member of boy group Wanna One, is currently doing well as both an actor and a singer. He is steadily pursuing his acting career with works such as JTBC's drama 'Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency' and Kakao M's digital original drama 'Love Revolution'. And this time, expectations are rising for how he will turn into the main character of another story in his 20s, which is different from the previous works.
'From A Distance, A Green Spring' will begin filming in January.
