Two new dramas aired their highly-anticipated premieres last night!

On June 23, both MBC’s “Numbers” and SBS’s “Revenant” got off to promising starts. According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of “Numbers”—which stars INFINITE’s Kim Myung Soo and Choi Jin Hyuk—scored an average nationwide rating of 4.4 percent.

Not only did “Numbers” premiere to higher ratings than “Joseon Attorney“—the drama that previously occupied its time slot (which premiered to a nationwide average of 2.8 percent)—but with just its first episode, “Numbers” already managed to match its predecessor’s all-time high of 4.4 percent.

Meanwhile, “Revenant”—which stars Kim Tae Ri and Oh Jung Se—earned an average nationwide rating of 9.9 percent, taking first place in its time slot across all channels. The drama also took first place among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 48, with whom it scored an average rating of 4.1 percent.
