“Itaewon Class” Finale Achieves Its Highest Ratings Yet
JTBC’s “Itaewon Class” has ended on a high note!
On March 21, the hit drama soared to a new all-time rating high for its final episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the series finale of “Itaewon Class” scored an average viewership rating of 16.5 percent nationwide and 18.3 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area, marking the drama’s highest ratings to date.
JTBC’s “Itaewon Class” currently holds the record for the second-highest viewership ratings in JTBC history, bested only by the smash hit “SKY Castle” (whose finale achieved the highest ratings in the history of of any Korean cable network—not just JTBC).

In the public broadcast network realm, KBS 2TV’s “Beautiful Love Wonderful Life” scored average nationwide ratings of 25.4 percent and 29.6 percent for its penultimate episode, while SBS’s “Hyena” scored average nationwide ratings of 9.1 percent and 11.7 percent for the night.
