Veteran Actor Sung Dong Il revealed just how close he was to BTS‘s V! On a recent episode of MBC‘s 'Radio Star', he shared that he often invites both V and actor Park Bo Gum over to his house. He even once gave Park Bo Gum some money as a birthday gift!

Not only does V and Park Bo Gum visit his house often, he shared that they mostly talk about life when they meet up. Given that the age difference is rather huge between the middle-aged actor and the young stars, Sung Dong Il admits that he enjoys giving them advice.

Sung Dong Il shared that V also adores his middle daughter, Sung Bin, so much that he often sends her gifts of food. When BTS started travelling to Japan often for schedules, he sent her boxes of Japanese snacks including ramen. At that point of time, Sung Bin did not know who BTS was. However, Sung Dong Il revealed that someday, she found out who BTS are, and asked her father if he was the same person that sent her snacks!
What a lucky girl! This is not the first time Sung Dong Il has showed off his close friendship with V. On a reality show filmed in Hawaii, Sung Dong Il ran into an American fan of V, and connected the two via a video call. Catch the cute clip below.
