Irene and Seulgi from girl group Red Velvet have shown off their performance for the closing stage of 'TIME100 Talks' hosted by the famous U.S. media Time magazine on the 18th.
The two singers were invited as the only performer of "TIME100 Talks," which was broadcast at 6 p.m. on the 18th (Korea time), and presented the stage for the title song of the first mini-album, "Monster."
They said, "I'm glad to be with you at a meaningful event. I would like to thank the medical staff for their hard work day and night due to Corona 19. It's a difficult time for everyone, but I hope you don't get tired and cheer up with a positive mind".
"TIME100 Talks" is a series of video talks in which Time magazine gathers leaders from various fields to shed light on solutions to global problems and encourage interdisciplinary action, and the event is attended by U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the 27th Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, movie star and goodwill ambassador for the U.N. Development Program, and African leadership group founder and CEO Fred Swaniker, who is trying to make meaning in a change.
Meanwhile, Irene and Seulgi made their unit debut with their first mini-album 'Monster' in July, topping various music and record charts in Korea, music broadcasting, iTunes top album charts in 50 regions around the world, and Chinese QQ Music and Cugou Music digital album sales charts.
