Boy group Golden Child successfully completed their solo online concert where they announced a surprise comeback in October.
Golden Child held their 'GOLDEN CHILD ONTACT CONCERT: NOW' at 3 PM KST on September 13 through mobile app Seezn, Olletv and MMT Live. It was their first performance in about eight months since the first solo concert 'Future and Fast' in January.
On the day, Golden Child opened the show with 'I Love U Crazy!', a song from their first full-length album repackage 'Without You'. Golden Child then communicated with Goldenness by presenting a series of special performances.
In particular, the sound effects which gave a vivid sense of realism and the dramatic stage changes increased the immersion of those who watched it, and Goldenness's special way of "cheering" simultaneously brought a lot of emotions. This suggested a new direction for on-tact concerts, soothing the disappointment of fans who are not being able to meet their idols face-to-face.
The highlight of the concert, however, was the news of Golden Child's upcoming comeback. The boys parked an explosive response from Goldenness by announcing their comeback on October 7 through a VCR at the end of the concert. Although it was an online concert, the heat was delivered as much as a real show.
