The group (G)I-DLE has become a global summer queen with their new song ‘DUMDi DUMDi‘ and swept iTunes charts around the world.

The girl group released their new single on August 3, which has gone on to top the iTunes Top Songs Chart in 41 regions. These include Indonesia, India, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Malaysia, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Taiwan, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Egypt, Finland, Guatemala, Hungary, Israel, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Peru, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Vietnam, Nicaragua, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Kyrgyzstan, Qatar, Jordan, Brunei, Azerbaijan, Bolivia, El Salvador, Fiji, Namibia, Oman, Belize, and Panama.


The song has also excelled on Korean music streaming charts, topping the charts on Bugs and Naver Music, as well as ranking fourth on Genie. Their music video for the song also surpassed five million views within the first five hours since its release, and currently has over 30 million views as of August 5.

“DUMDi DUMDi” was co-written by (G)I-DLE member Soyeon and composer Pop Time, and is a summer song in the girl group’s signature style. The song has an addictive melody, energetic choreography, and lyrics that scream of summer and youth.
