ENA’s upcoming variety program “City Z Goes to the Countryside” (literal translation) has shared a new sneak peek of aespa’s Winter and (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon on the show!

“City Z Goes to the Countryside” will follow Gen Z celebrities as they dive into the charms and challenges of rural life. Yang Se Chan, Lee Eun Ji, Lee Yi Kyung, Song Geon Hee, and Jeong Dong Won will serve as MCs for the show, which will feature special guest appearances from different Gen Z stars who each bring their own flair to life in the countryside.
The show’s first guests will be Winter and Miyeon, who will showcase new sides of themselves that viewers don’t typically get to see during their activities as girl group members.
In the newly released stills, Winter is all smiles as she impresses the cast with her cooking skills. After donning rubber gloves, Winter fearlessly goes about removing a fish head with a large knife.
Meanwhile, Miyeon happily dances in a creek while wearing a straw hat, making everyone around her burst into laughter.
The show’s production team commented, “Miyeon and Winter briefly set aside the glamorous, born-to-be-an-idol charisma that they display on stage, and they showcased their remarkable variety show skills by transforming into lovable rural Gen Z-ers.”
“You’ll be able to see a new side of Miyeon and Winter, who undergo a complete ‘rural Gen Z-ification,’” they continued. “Please look forward to the first episode of ‘City Z Goes to the Countryside.’”
“City Z Goes to the Countryside” will premiere on September 8 at 8:30 p.m. KST.
