On July 14 KST, Cube Entertainment officially announced that the girl group is preparing for a summer comeback. The goal is to make the return in early August.

"GI-DLE is making an effort to wrap up the preparations for the comeback. We would like to ask everyone for their continued interest," announced the agency.

Above all, attention is focused on the growth and worldview that (G)I-DLE will show. (G)I-DLE has been popular with original concepts since their debut. The debut song "Latata" topped music programs in 20 days and ranked at the top of various music charts. Thanks to this, (G)I-DLE set a new record of seven wins. Afterward, they established themselves as a global group by releasing hits like “Hann (Alone)” and “Senorita.”

Last year, the group participated in Mnet’s “Queendom” and showed off their true skills. Their song “Lion” received acclaim in not only Korea but overseas. Also, they swept music charts and won first place on music shows with “Oh my god” from their album “I Trust.”

(G)I-DLE established themselves as an exceptional girl group in the sense that they can self-produce their own unique musical colors, and there is global attention on what kind of music and story they will show next.

The upcoming comeback makes the first official return of GI-DLE in four months. Recently, the group released a digital single "i"M THE TREND". Back in April, the group had successfully promoted their 3rd mini album 'I trust'. This will be (G)I-DLE ’s first comeback in four months since “Oh my god” in April.
