The Korean Committee for UNICEF announced on September 22 that BTS's message of hope to the world will be unveiled at a meeting of the U.N. Group of Friends of Solidarity for Global Health Security at 10 PM KST on September 23.

They invited BTS as a special speaker for the young generations who are dealing with COVID-19.

The Group of Friends of Solidarity for Global Health Security was launched in 2020 under the leadership of the Republic of Korea to discuss health and security issues, including the COVID-19 pandemic. South Korea, Denmark, Sierra Leone, Qatar and Canada are co-chairmen of the group, which has more than 40 U.N. members participating.

Having made a special relationship with the U.N. General Assembly since 2018, BTS will take a step from 'LOVE MYSELF' to deliver the message "Let's live a new world again" as a warm solidarity toward each other.

The meeting, which will introduce various views of the international community on the coronavirus, along with the video of BTS, will be broadcast in real time from 10 PM to 11:30 PM KST on September 23 through UN Web TV and the Korean Foreign Ministry's Facebook page.

The participation in the U.N. event was led by the Korean Committee for UNICEF, which has maintained a partnership with the U.S. since the signing of UNICEF's campaign '#ENDviolence' in 2017. In 2018, UNICEF invited BTS to join the UN General Assembly as a global youth representative.
